With three or four, somehow it feels more random — you can go from rosy to doomed pretty quickly if your opponents choose to gang up on you. Granted, that’s not random (it’s politics), but still.

If people choose to gang up on you in Blokus (another great game), you’ll likely still have plenty of options.
