As of this writing, a GoFundMe has also been created for the deceased student. Addi Siscel is a student and cheerleader at a Missouri educational institution. Francis Howell’s official Facebook cheerleading page shared the tragic news on her account.
In a side note, they wrote that the family was devastated by the loss of their adorable young daughter Adi. They added that she was their light of life and always inspired them. Her school authorities also expressed her grief by writing to say she was greatly missed. A YouTube channel called NewsRandom claims the cheerleader died in a car accident. However, law enforcement has yet to confirm this.
So far, no news agency has confirmed her death. However, it’s safe to say that the announcement has some credibility because the high school shares the same thing. Francis Howell Cheer Boosters launches GoFundMe following Siscel’s untimely death. They announced that all donations will go directly to Adi’s family for the funeral/remembrance. So far, $4,385 has been raised on GoFundMe. The school’s goal is to raise $5,000. The maximum donation of $500 is from an anonymous donor. Social media was flooded with asides and notes from the cheerleader.
This is not the first student death to grab headlines in recent days. Cheney High School student Brayden Bahme recently died after being injured in gym class. He is said to have slipped during a running practice and had his eye pierced after colliding with a goalpost. A GoFundMe has also been set up for him to handle funeral arrangements and immediate family needs.
