The Jamaica Constabulary Force claims to have identified a possible suspect involved in Aneka “Slickianna” Townsend’s killing. The cops require Rushane Patterson, a resident of Prosper Hanover, to report to the Freeport Police Station by 5 PM on Saturday. They need him for investigative purposes.
Senior Superintendant of Police Vernon Ellis of the Jamaica Constables Office said they wanted to speak with Rushane Patterson from Prosper, Hanover. They wanted him to hand himself in to the police by 5pm. SSP Ellis indicated that a motor vehicle had been seized as part of the investigation into the matter.
According to the priest, authorities recovered a vehicle this morning after performing a series of operations in a neighboring parish. On Saturday morning, the 35-year-old social media influencer from Waterloo Road in St. Andrew was identified by her mother. Her name was also spelled “Kayan”.
It’s believed that a decomposing body was seen floating in the ocean at around 9:30 am on Friday. The Marine Police pulled the body from the water after it was discovered. The shocking news of Townsend’s death prompted many to process their grief through empathizing with her social media posts.
The investigation continues without end.
