The death of Bonnie Sanders Burney occurred on June 11, 2015. The cherished daughter of Louise and Stephanie Bernie, Sanders is 12 years old. She had her parents, her brother Louis III, her grandparents Raymond Kress and Mrs. Kress, her grandparents Louis A. Burney and Mrs. All Wilmingtonians, and her cousins Augusta and Fulton Smith in addition to her parents. They both have such a strong passion for Carter and Chase Adams.

Sanders is a charming, intelligent, and gregarious man. Several friends, professors, and members of her family adore her. She earned the Best Tennis Award and received an honorable discharge from St. Mark’s Catholic School.

Sanders enjoys reading a lot and going camping with his family. Her passion, spirit, and love for life are contagious. She misses her more than words can express. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Allegheny County EMS crew and Mrs. Missy Cass, RN, for their unwavering love and support shown to Sanders during the academic year. In Wilmington, North Carolina, at St. James Episcopal Church, a memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015, at 3 p.m. The Reverend Ron Abrams will officiate the service, and a reception will follow at Lee Parish Hall. In Sanders’ honor, a contribution to St. Mark’s Catholic School may be sent in lieu of flowers.
