After a shooting in Pittsburgh’s downtown, a man was critically injured. Photos from the scene show numerous police officers.

Following a shooting in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursday afternoon, one victim is in critical condition.

One victim was brought to the hospital after the shooting at Liberty Avenue and Seventh Street, according to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.

During the inquiry, police blocked off a section of Liberty Avenue between Wood Street and Seventh Avenue.

From Wood to the 7th Ward downtown, Liberty Avenue has been blocked off by police. We are trying to get further information from the researchers. There is no information available about potential suspects or arrests. Although a press officer was at the site, police have not yet said what caused the shooting.
