Ezra Alvarez “Ezy,” 16, of Derry, New Hampshire, passed away suddenly at home on February 14, 2023. On April 14, 2006, he was born in Baldwin Park, California. His formative years were spent in Montebello, California. Afterwards, Ezra and his family relocated to Utah, where he developed a liking for football. Ez began playing football when he was 8 years old.
A-Game Elite, Copper Hills, Brighton High, and Utah Pioneers are just a few of the teams he has played on. He developed several relationships with players and coaches on those teams who had an impact on him both on and off the field. Ez plays with pride on both sides of the ball and is strong despite his diminutive size. Ez has spent many hours honing his skill both on and off the court. Ez gladly went to the Utah Military Academy, where he developed his leadership abilities and made lifelong friends.
He had numerous teachers that helped him throughout his entire stay and stayed in touch with him even after he moved. The family relocated to Derry, New Hampshire, only a year ago, and Ezra started attending Pinkerton College there. As the defensive starter for the Pinkerton College Astros football team, Ezra proudly sports No. 6. He likes to play video games, exercise, and construct Star Wars LEGO structures in his free time. He also likes to play flag football and take part in 7v7 competitions. It is undeniable that he is quite knowledgeable in sports statistics. Nobody understands the art of teasing better than Ezy’s sister, whom he enjoys tormenting every day.
Ezy is going to be remembered as a smart, considerate, and nice young man. His pals rave about his sense of humor and chuckle. He was always the one who has others’ best interests in mind. Those whose lives he touched will miss him always.
His parents Tiffany Baker and Daniel Marshall are still alive. His great-grandfather Raymond Gutierrez; his sister Jordan Alvarez; his aunt Brenda Ramirez; his cousins Benjamin, JW, and Thomas Ramirez; his other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his football coach and brothers both on and off the field.
The results will be made public later.
