Julie Paulsen Johannessen, a member of the Norwegian shooting team since 2019, has passed away. She is 21 years old. This was announced on Tuesday by the Norwegian Shooting Association.

The 21-year-old from Fredrikstad made his senior debut at the World Cup in Lima this month. Days after her return to Texas, she was found dead in her room at the university she attended, the association wrote.

Earlier in the same season, she won silver and bronze at the Junior 50m World Cup, according to the Norwegian Archery Federation.
