Jyoti Kishanji Amge is an Indian actress who is the shortest woman in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. After Amge’s 18th birthday on December 16, 2011, Guinness World Records officially declared her the shortest woman in the world at 62.8 cm. Their limited size is due to a genetic disorder called primitive dwarfism.
Amge appeared in a 2009 documentary titled “Body Shock: Two-Foot Teen”. She was also a guest contestant on the Indian TV show Bigg Boss 6. On August 13, 2014, she was cast as Ma Petite in the fourth season of American Horror Story: Freak Show.
In 2012, she met the world’s smallest man, Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal. The couple pose for a photo for the 57th edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. In 2012 Amge co-hosted Lo Show dei Record on the Italian channel Canale 5 with Teo Mammucari.
In August 2014, Amge starred in American Horror Story: Freak Show, in which she played Ma Petite[10], which premiered on October 8, 2014. Statue of Jyoti Amge at the Lonavala Wax Museum. A wax figure of her can also be seen at the Celebrity Wax Museum in Lonavala.
