Nicky passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Center on November 10, 2022, aged 69. She was Peter’s devoted wife of 47 years, devoted mother to Elaine and Terry (Sandra), and loving baba to Peter. Her marriage to Peter lasted 47 years. The parents of Nikis, Lazos and Sveta will hold a meeting. On June 16, 1954, Niki moved to Toronto, Canada with her family when she was one year old.

As a child, she always looked forward to going to her parents’ restaurant. After graduating from Eastern High School in Business Administration in 1972, she graduated from Centennial College and began her career as a paralegal. She married Peter on October 31, 1976, followed by Elaine in 1978 and Terry in 1982. She holds them dearly and considers them the center of her being. They moved to Barrie in 1993, where she raised the children with great care, while maintaining her job at Loblaws and spending time with friends.

After retiring, she went to visit her grandson Pete and grandpa Charlie whom she adored and loved all her life. Niki is a passionate collector who loves spending time with those she cares about. Together they shop, visiting vintage stores and boutiques in search of unique items. She has assembled a remarkable collection of unique crystals, antique pottery and special magnets. She takes great pleasure in catering to legions of customers who admire and respect her taste by selling fantastic new finds. She also enjoys making great gifts for family and friends, such as cross-stitch items with their names on them and seasonal wreaths that she sends. Margaret’s passion for gardening has led to an award-winning exquisite garden design at her home in Barrie, Ontario. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family, as well as those she knew.
