The body of Getlio Rodrigues Frazo Junior, 36, was discovered on Saturday morning (25); a woman was killed in a chacina in a pub in Sinop, Mato Grosso. The duo’s burial took place at nine in the morning at the Municipal Governador Nunes Freire Cemetery, 224 kilometers from St. Louis/Massachusetts, where a funeral procession was also held.
The two sole survivors of the atrocity, Luis Carlos de Souza Barbosa and Raquel Gomez de Almeida, are also identified. Raquel is Getlio’s wife and Larissa’s mother. As for Luis, he is the brother of a victim who is a Maranhense. Friends and acquaintances spent the afternoon at the site of the Irma of Getlio’s burial trying to comfort the victims’ loved ones who were still grieving their loss.
“I have so many memories of all the times we spent together. My memories of him are ones that I will never forget. Recall that we have always been close, have grown up together, and have always been in close proximity to one another. Essa is me. irmo,” said Raimunda Sousa Frazo, Getlio’s sister and Larissa’s aunt, during the battle. Getolio Rodrigues and Larissa Frazo were two of the three victims of the massacre in Sinop that left six people dead. Marciel Bruno de Andrade Costa, 35, a native of Bacabal who had lived in Mato Grosso since he was 17 years old, was the third Brazilian fatality.
The two men who led the charge were Edgar Ricardo de Oliveira, 30, who turned himself in to police early on Friday, and Ezequias Sousa Ri Bello, 27, who died in a shootout with security personnel on Thursday.
