Solange Knowles, an American singer, has a song called “Tony.” It was the third and final album A single to be released, and it was written and produced by Jack Splash and Cee-Lo Green for their second studio album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams (2008). The abbreviation “T.O.N.Y.” stands for “The Other Night Y?” and denotes a single-night affair. Kid Cudi, Cee-Lo Green, and Solange’s son, Daniel Julez Smith, Jr., all appear in the song video.
In charge of directing the music video were Va$htie and Solange Knowles. The song features Kid Cudi performing “T.O.N.Y.” (The Other Night oh Y?)” with Cee-Lo Green as a guest. In the video, Solange can be seen pacing about anxiously, seemingly due to T.O.N.Y. At the end of the clip, she is clutching a pregnancy test that has come back positive and a piece of paper that reads, “The Other Night Y???” (TONY). The video then switches to Kid Cudi’s character “T.O.N.Y” carrying the same pregnancy test and some paper. Back in the video, Solange is shown gazing at a photo of her and her son’s young son that has the words “I’m in love now.”
