“We have to get better at many things to be able to compete. We lack many things,” Pedri told the media after the Bayern game.

“We have to be more calm with the ball, make better decisions. There are many things to improve.

“We are a very young team and we have a lot of room for improvement. It’s clear that we’re not good enough to compete in the Champions League.

“I want to thank the fans. Every day they are with us no matter what. We want to give them victories and titles, that’s why we went out to thank them when the game was over.

“Thank you very much fans,” Pedri adds.

Pedri was not at his best against Bayern Munich as the teenager struggled to influence the game.

The midfielder was eventually hauled off after the hour mark with Xavi opting to bring in attackers.
